Cindy`s Restaurant in Bakersfield

The food was only ok, but the service was the best I've had in any restaurant, in any context, at any time. I'm kind of shocked. Six for the service, 2.5 for the food. Averaging to 4.

The staff is great and don't forget to tip, I've seen them hurt customers for small tips, the young ladies that work there know how make break bones... uuuhhh I mean... All jokes aside I was amazed with the late night/early morning staff as well, they treated me with respect when other places try to kick you out even if they're are 24 hours or not.

Classic diner, old school, perfect service and delicious offerings. The menu is all-day, breakfast-lunch-dinner. Loved it.

Great restaurant for anyone.Pros: Food is great! I've had their breakfast and lunch items. The staff is always friendly and considerate.Cons: Wait times around the weekend can be upwards to about 40 minutes.

Family atmosphere, friendly,. good service, tasty food

It's a shame that they are now closed I really wish that I could have gotten hold of their waffle maker that's the one thing that I'm going to miss the most in town is going to Cindy's in getting a strawberry waffle. Cindy if you're reading this please pass on your secret about your waffles. I really wish that they would have just sold it to somebody or kept it open during certain hours.

My husband and I love this diner! It's quaint and the customer service is spectacular. I enjoy the "complete breakfast" while my husband usually orders the bbq bacon cheeseburger or ham n scrambled eggs. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Come to Cindy's for an excellent, comfy dining experience!

Just dangerous good food. Perfect Ribeye, lovely eggs and delicious potatoes. Enjoyed a bowl of homemade veggie soup. I'll be back. Also, the ladies were spirited and kind. Almost makes me wish I lived here.

Food is good reviews said it was a friendly place but come to find out not so friendly my kids where making small talk with the waitress but she replayed with a smile and keep it moving and seems to be antisocial.

I love this place. Food is always great. People who work there are always nice and helpful. It's not just a restaurant of business but it gives the feeling of family and being welcome everytime.

I had the beef and barley soup I paired it with some sliced sour dough bread. It was great! Rich and tasty.

We come here for Breakfast the service is great the Food is outstanding the portions are big you can't ask for more everything is homemade and the biscuits are huge and the gravy is great the coffee is from Farmer Brothers so you know it's good this is a return again and again! They open at 5:30 am and on Thursday thru Saturday they are open 24 hrs

Service excellent and attentive. Portions are outrageous. We could of split one plate with four people. Enjoyed my breakfast for three meals. Pay the $1 and split your breakfast. Comfortable atmosphere and worth the visit.

Excellant, attentive to all aspects of customer service, never ever does a customer experience a delay in recieving the bill thus allowing a prompt exit. I love All the elementory kids coloring that surrounds every other open wall with their drawings. Crayons provided, plentiful with paper and the majority of seating are comfortable booths. Im a lifetime regular and know almost everyone by their name. Uness has a welcoming genuine smile when i see her that i miss when i go there when shes not working i do miss her sweet smile, but im always coming back. Every single employee has been there for years. I keith stewart love cindy's cuz the food matches their service... its great!!! True story/no lie either!!!

I have been going here since I was a kid. Sad to see its hours cut and that they may close they have the best breakfast and honey chicken! And the best service!!!

I have been going to Cindy's for about 13 years and have always loved the food and the service, no matter what time of day. The staff are always so kind and polite to my family. The food is awesome! The tortilla soup (Wednesdays) knocks the sniffles right out of you and the clam chowder on Fridays is pretty amazing also. The Waffle Sandwich is probably my favorite breakfast food, although the omelettes are pretty awesome as well.

Great service, food, and regular staff who goes above an beyond to take care of you. I go every week and the server remembered me by time 3. Now we joke as if we were old friends

Great place to dine. The food was very tasty & the server was very upbeat & fun to be around. She made us laugh & laughed at my jokes. The inside was clean, the seats were comfortable, it was a very cozy down to earth vibe. Plenty of parking a bit hard to locate but good ol Google maps helped me find the place. I will definitely recommend Cindy's to my friends and family.

We go every weekend for breakfast. You're greeted the second you walk in, the owner is super sweet, and the waitresses are always full of smiles! The cooks are always happy and sometimes you can hear them jamming out to music. The biscuits and gravy are definitely top 5 in town! You will definitely be waddling out of this restaurant completely stuffed and ready for a nap.

Was there last night with my family. As soon as we were finished I took one last drink of my iced tea and Immediately pulled out of my mouth what I thought was a piece of lemon was actually a COCKROACH!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusted by this dump! The waitress wasn’t very surprised when we brought it to her attention.imagejpeg_0.jpg

I go to Cindy's about once a week. Everyone is very friendly and attentive . The prices are good, I love the soups and sandwiches. Breakfast is excellent.

I've been going to this restaurant for about 20 years. Always good service and good food. Would like the for the menu to change a bit with some new dishes but I always go to my favorites anyway.

Fresh food, great menu, outstanding service! I was trying to feed my baby when our food came out and Cindy reheated my food for me while I took care of the baby. So thoughtful! They are always so kind and the food comes out fast and tasty

We always enjoy breakfast, but for lunch the avacado club sandwich is my favorite.
